The National Alliance on Mental Illness, Kansas City, Kan., Chapter, (NAMI) will meet Monday, March 9, at Trinity Community Church, 5010 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kan.
A business meeting will be held from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., followed by the program from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
The guest speaker, Toby Cummings, administrative officer, Osawatomie State Hospital, will speak on the topic, “Mental Health and the Faith Community.”
These monthly meetings are designed to bring together persons with questions on how to deal with mental illness (neurobiological brain disorders). For more information call 913-299-8490.
