Sunny and mild weather today may become stormy Wednesday

Today’s forecast is mostly sunny with a high near 77, followed by a chance of rain and storms Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

There will be a light south southwest wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning, according to the weather service.

Tonight, there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 a.m., the weather service said. The low will be around 66 with a south southeast wind of 6 to 9 mph.

Wednesday, there is a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m., with a high near 73, the weather service said. The south southwest wind will be around 7 mph. Between a quarter and a half-inch of rain is possible.

Wednesday night, there is a 50 percent chance of precipitation, mostly before 1 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 50, with a north wind of 6 to 8 mph.

Thursday’s weather will be sunny with a high near 67, the weather service said. The north northeast wind was around 7 mph. Thursday night, the low will be around 45.

Friday, it will be sunny with a high near 68, according to the weather service. Friday night, the low will be around 48, with partly cloudy skies.
