Two state election meetings have been scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 27.
The State Board of Canvassers will meet at 9 a.m. Aug. 27 in the Kansas secretary of state’s office, 120 S.W. 10th Ave., second floor, Memorial Hall, Topeka, to certify the results of the primary election.
The State Board of Canvassers includes Secretary of State Kris Kobach, Gov. Sam Brownback and Attorney General Derek Schmidt.
The State Election Board is scheduled to meet at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 27 in the secretary of state’s office, second floor, Memorial Hall, Topeka.
The State Election Board will meet to assess evidence of citizenship submitted by a voter registration applicant.
The State Election Board includes Kobach, Schmidt and Lt. Gov. Jeff Colyer.
