A barricaded person was taken into custody unharmed about 6 p.m. Saturday in the 8300 block of Elizabeth Avenue in Kansas City, Kan., according to police.
The standoff started around 11:19 a.m. Saturday. Police officers were trying to locate a 27-year-old man in connection with a Wyandotte County warrant for aggravated robbery, the police spokesman said.
After officers were able to confirm the suspect was in the residence, he refused to leave the home, the spokesman said.
No one was injured in the case.
