Spring break sessions are being offered through the 4-H Youth Development Department March 16-20 at the Wyandotte County K-State Research and Extension Office, 1200 N. 79th St., Kansas City, Kansas.
Morning sessions will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and afternoon sessions from 1 to 3 p.m. The programs will be centered on a “Plant and Animal Science Extravaganza” theme. Lunch will be provided from noon to 1 p.m.
Some sessions will be “for youth, by youth.” Youths currently enrolled in Wyandotte County 4-H will present the session, alongside an adult presenter.
Sessions are open to all youth in first through eighth grade, and a $5 class fee per youth allows students to attend as many sessions as they would like throughout the week. Sessions will be limited to 25 youth participants.
