Sporting KC’s menu goes fan-friendly this season

Sporting Kansas City unveiled its new menu for the upcoming season – and it’s something fans may like.

“We are going to go to more fan-friendly food,” said Sporting KC head chef Kevin Stenberg.

Stenberg said that is what the public is more comfortable with. A preview of the menu was offered Tuesday, in advance of Saturday’s home opener.

Among the menu items sampled on Tuesday at Children’s Mercy Park were nachos, Sporting cookies, pretzel bites, fries with cheese and jalopenos, and fries with chili, cheese and jalopenos.
