Sporting Kansas City (10-6-11, 41 points) moved within three points of first place in the Western Conference following a 1-1 draw at Columbus Crew SC on Sunday. Manager Peter Vermes’ men will now return home to kick off a four-game homestand that begins Saturday at 7:30 p.m. against the New England Revolution (10-12-5, 35 points) in Kansas City, Kansas.
FOX Sports Kansas City and FOX Sports Midwest will televise three hours of live coverage at Children’s Mercy Park beginning at 7 p.m., while local radio calls will air on Sports Radio 810 WHB (English) and La Grande 1340 AM (Spanish).
