Sporting KC off to a high-scoring start

Sporting Kansas City was off to a high-scoring start tonight at Children’s Mercy Park, Kansas City, Kansas.

Daniel Salloi scored Sporting’s first goal with eight minutes into the match against Minnesota United.

Minnesota’s Tyrone Mears tied it, 1-1.

The second Sporting KC goal was scored by Wan Kuzain.

The third Sporting KC goal, by Cristian Lobato, followed shortly afterward to make it 3-1.

In the second half, Sporting KC’s Diego Rubio scored, to make it 4-1. That was the final score.

The match was nationally televised on FS1. Attendance was over 20,000.
