Sporting KC kicks off home opener with 2-1 win

Sporting KC’s first goal of the home season was scored by Dom Dwyer only five minutes into the match.
In the second half of Sporting KC vs. Vancouver Whitecaps, a goal was made by Pedro Morales. The score was Sporting KC 2, Vancouver Whitecaps 1.
“I’m really proud of the guys,” Sporting KC manager Peter Vermes said. “They really played their hearts out. I am really proud of them.”
