Sporting Kansas City enters the final week of the 2015 regular season with two key home games at Sporting Park to determine the team’s postseason fate in a tightly contested Western Conference race.
Sporting Kansas City could finish as high as the second seed or outside of playoff position in seventh place.
Sporting KC first will play host to the Colorado Rapids at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday — in a match originally scheduled for May 16 but postponed because of inclement weather — and can secure a spot in the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs with a victory. The match will air live locally on KMCI-TV 38 the Spot and across the Midwest on SKCTV affiliates with three hours of coverage beginning at 7 p.m. Radio broadcasts will also be available on 99.3 FM (English) and 1340 AM (Spanish).
The regular season finale will then be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday between Sporting Kansas City and the LA Galaxy in a nationally-televised Decision Day match-up on ESPN.
Tickets are available for both matches online at Ticketmaster.com and the first 5,000 fans inside the stadium on Sunday will receive Sporting KC touchscreen gloves.
