The Kansas City, Kan., Public Schools is seeking licensed special education teachers for the 2016-17 school year. Teachers are needed for early childhood, elementary, middle and high school, as well as adaptive PE, deaf and hard of hearing, visually impaired and more.
Interested persons can get more information by attending the Special Education Teacher Recruitment Fair set for 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 5, at the KCKPS Central Office and Training Center, 2010 N. 59th St.
Before attending the fair, interested persons should:

• Bring a current resume and an unofficial transcript
Financial assistance may be provided to a limited number of general education teachers to pursue coursework to obtain licensure to teach special education.
