Some Wyandotte County schools are closing Monday because of the weather.
According to a district social media post, school has been canceled in the Piper Public Schools for Monday.
Also closed on Monday will be the Turner Public Schools, according to a district social media post.
The Bonner Springs Public Schools also have announced there will be no school on Monday, according to a district social media post.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Public Schools recently announced it will be closed on Monday because of the weather.
Kansas City Kansas Community College will close on Monday, Nov. 26, because of the weather, according to an announcement on the college’s social media page. All day and evening classes and all campus events and activities will be canceled.
Donnelly College also has announced on its social media page that it will close Monday, Nov. 26, because of the weather, and that all day and evening classes are canceled.
