Some offices are closed today for Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 16.
The Unified Government and Board of Public Utilities offices will be closed.
Trash service will be in effect in Wyandotte County, according to a note posted on the Deffenbaugh Industries website. There will be no delay of trash pickup because of the holiday.
The public school districts in Kansas City, Kan., are all closed. Also closed is Kansas City Kansas Community College.
Also closed are federal offices and the U.S. Postal Service. The state of Kansas offices are not closed, but the Kansas Judicial Branch is closed for Presidents Day.
The Kansas City, Kan., Public Library branches also are all closed today.
