Snow misses Wyandotte County; coldest night of year ahead

A snow storm has missed Wyandotte County this morning, and instead is located to the east.

The snow is in a line from Moberly, Mo., to Sedalia, Mo., to Clinton, Mo., according to the National Weather Service.

The Wyandotte County forecast does not include snow, but there is a very slight chance of snow throughout the region, according to the weather service.

Wyandotte County may get below zero wind chills tonight, the weather service said.

After a high of 26 today, with wind gusts as high as 29 mph, the low could be around 9 degrees tonight, with wind chill values of between minus 6 and 4, according to the weather service. The wind tonight will be north northwest 14 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 29 mph.

Sunday, there will be sunny skies and a high of 22, with wind chill values between minus 7 and 3, the weather service said. A north northwest wind of 6 to 13 mph will become west southwest in the afternoon, according to the weather service.

Sunday night, expect partly cloudy skies and a low of 19.

Monday, the high temperature will be 40 degrees, with a west wind of 9 to 13 mph, according to the weather service. Monday night’s low will be around 24.

Tuesday, it will be sunny with a high near 28, the weather service said. Tuesday night’s low will be around 15.

Wednesday, it’s a little warmer. Expect sunny skies and a high of 38, according to the weather service. Wednesday night’s low will be 29.

Thursday, the temperature will climb to 43, the weather service said. Thursday night’s forecast low is 27.

Friday’s high will be near 35, according to the weather service.
