Snow flurries in forecast

Scattered snow flurries will be possible in the region today, especially to the north, but no hazardous weather is expected, according to the National Weather Service.

Flurries or light showers will be possible Saturday night and Sunday, but no accumulation or hazardous weather is expected, the weather service said.

Today’s high will be near 35 with partly sunny skies, according to the weather service, and a west northwest wind of 7 to 13 mph.

Tonight, it will be partly cloudy with a low of 23 and a west wind of 6 to 8 mph, the weather service said.

Friday, expect sunny skies and a high near 39, with a west northwest wind of 7 to 13 mph gusting to 21 mph, according to the weather service.

Friday night’s forecast is partly cloudy with a low of 26 and a west northwest wind of 8 mph, the weather service said.

Saturday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 41, according to the weather service. A northwest wind of8 to 13 mph will gust as high as 22 mph.

Saturday night, there is a 20 percent chance of rain before 7 p.m., then a chance of snow between 7 p.m. and midnight, the weather service said. It will be mostly cloudy with a low of 27.

Sunday, it will be partly sunny with a high near 42, according to the weather service. Sunday night, it will be partly sunny with a high near 42.

Monday, expect mostly sunny skies with a high near 53, the weather service said.
