The weather service forecast called for rain and snow possible after midnight, then snow after 3 a.m.

Saturday’s forecast calls for an 80 percent chance of precipitation and snow, mainly before 10 a.m. From 1 to 3 inches of new snow is possible.
The low will be around 24 degrees Friday night into Saturday morning. Saturday’s high will be near 28.
The weather service said motorists should plan on slippery road conditions.
Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility, according to the weather service.
Motorists are advised to slow down and use caution while traveling, the weather service said.
