Lingering flurries to light snow could make roads slick this morning.
Another quick moving winter storms system will bring a dusting to a couple tenths of an inch of snow to portions of the region Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
Wind chills in the morning Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be cold. Temperatures may be in the low teens.
This weekend, a potent storm system will cross the southern plains. Forecast models continue to keep this system well to the south areas from eastern Kansas into central Missouri.
Today, there is a 20 percent chance of precipitation, with patchy snow showers and freezing drizzle possible before 10 a.m., then a slight chance of snow showers between 10 a.m. and noon, the weather service said. The high will be near 30 with a west wind of 6 to 10 mph.
Tonight, it will be cloudy during the early evening, then gradually clearing, with a low of 24, according to the weather service. There will be a west southwest wind of 6 to 10 mph.
Wednesday, it will be sunny with a high near 46, and a southwest wind of 5 to 9 mph, the weather service said.
Wednesday night, there is a 20 percent chance of precipitation, with a slight chance of rain before 1 a.m., then a slight chance of rain and snow between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m., followed by a slight chance of snow after 3 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 28 with a south southwest wind of 6 to 9 mph becoming north northwest after midnight.
Thursday, it will be mostly cloudy with a high near 32 and a north wind of 7 to 9 mph, the weather service said.

Friday, it will be partly sunny with a high near 30, the weather service said.
