The National Weather Service is warning that there is a slightly elevated fire risk this afternoon as recent dry conditions have led to dry fuels.
The dry fuels, added to above average temperatures, relatively low relative humidity values and moderate southwest winds, may result in fires that can ignite and spread quickly, the weather service said.
A southwest wind of 7 to 9 mph is expected today, according to the weather service.
Today’s high will be near 49.
Tonight, it will be partly cloudy with a low around 30, according to the weather service.
Saturday, it will be sunny with a high near 56, the weather service said, and a west wind of 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday night, expect a low of 38.
Sunday’s forecast will be mostly sunny with a high near 55, according to the weather service. It will be breezy, with a west wind of 10 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 29 mph.
Sunday night, it will be partly cloudy with a low of 33.
