Slick highways reported in places

There have been accidents in the Kansas City area as freezing rain began to fall this evening. One accident was reported near I-70 and I-635, according to KC Scout. The accident happened around 10:11 p.m. KC Scout also reported that I-635 south of I-70 was closed, and motorists were asked to use alternate routes. (KC Scout photo)
