The Silver City Day parade and celebration is scheduled Saturday, Oct. 1.
The parade begins at 10 a.m. at South 42nd and Strong Avenue, and continues to 24th Street.
It will be followed by a celebration from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Emerson Park, 29th and Strong. There will be entertainment, food and activities.
