From one to two inches of rain are expected Wednesday through Thursday with higher amounts possible, the weather service said.
The rains could lead to local flash flooding and minor river flooding, according to the weather service.

Tonight, there is a 100 percent chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 4 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 48 with an east southeast wind of 5 to 7 mph. Between a half and three-quarters of an inch of rain is possible.
Wednesday, there is a 70 percent chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 7 a.m., then showers likely between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m., the weather service said. The high will be near 69 with a south southwest wind of 7 to 10 mph. Between a quarter and half-inch of rain is possible.
Wednesday night, there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, then a 90 percent chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 1 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 60 with a south wind of 5 to 8 mph. New rainfall amounts will be between a quarter and half-inch.
Thursday, there is an 80 percent chance of precipitation, with showers and a thunderstorm possible before 1 p.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m., the weather service said. The high will be near 74, with a south wind of 11 to 16 mph increasing to 17 to 22 mph in the afternoon. Winds may gust as high as 30 mph. Between a quarter and half-inch of rain is possible.
