A victim of a shooting on March 31 in the 1300 block of Central Avenue has been identified, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, police spokesman.
The victim, who died at a hospital on April 5, has been identified as Bernard Matlock, 72, of Kansas City, Missouri, according to a police spokesman.
Police stated that they received a report of a shooting at 7:20 a.m. March 31 in the 1300 block of Central Avenue. The victim was found on the sidewalk, and was taken to the hospital, police stated.
Two suspects were taken into custody, police stated.
The case is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Bureau. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
