Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a shooting at about 3:55 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, in the 1400 block of State Avenue.
According to a police spokesman, when officers arrived, they found a man in his late 30s, suffering from a gunshot wound.
The man had non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital, the spokesman stated.
The shooting is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department Criminal Investigations Division, which is encouraging anyone with information to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
