A shooting was reported on Wednesday night near James Street and Central Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, police chief.
Victims told police they were on the old Central Avenue bridge taking photos when unknown suspects began shooting at them.
A woman was shot in the abdomen and taken to a hospital, where she was in stable condition, according to the chief’s post.
