A shooting was reported on Sunday, June 30, after a victim walked in to the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas, according to a police spokesman.
The victim was uncooperative, but his girlfriend told authorities they were in a car near 29th and Lafayette when another vehicle drove by and began shooting, the spokesman stated.
The victim was hit in the face and had fairly minor injuries, the spokesman added. The victim walked into the hospital around 5:45 p.m. Sunday.
The suspect is believed to be a man in his early 20s, according to police.
