A shooting was reported Monday afternoon in the 7th and Parallel Parkway area, according to officials.
According to a police spokesman, officers responded to a report on an armed disturbance at 3:06 p.m. Monday, March 26, in the 2000 block of North Tremont Street in Kansas City, Kansas.
Officers found a man in his early 30s with apparent gunshot wounds, the spokesman said.
The victim had life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital, according to the spokesman. The victim now is in serious, but stable condition, police said.
