A resident reported hearing four to five gunshots while she was inside her home at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 22 in the 100 block of New Jersey, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Officers who responded found five shell casings in the street, according to police.
A vehicle was struck by gunfire, police stated.
