A shooting death was reported Wednesday night in the 1700 block of Short Avenue, according to a spokesman for the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Police officers responded to the location on a shooting call shortly after 8:30 p.m. Oct. 28, the spokesman stated. The location is between Troup and Garfield avenues.
Officers discovered a shooting victim, a female in her late 30s, dead inside a residence, the spokesman stated.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is investigating. Anyone with information related to this case is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS, according to police.
