A shooting death on I-70 and I-635 in the early morning hours April 14 is under investigation, according to Kansas City, Kan., police officers.
The shooting is not believed to be connected to other recent highway shootings that have taken place on the Missouri side of the Greater Kansas City area, a police spokesman said.
Police said two males had suffered gunshot wound and had arrived at the University of Kansas Hospital at 3901 Rainbow Blvd. in Kansas City, Kan., at 3:34 a.m. April 14.
Officers learned that one had died, while the other was in serious but stable condition.
The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s Major Case Unit is asking anyone with information about the shooting to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
