The National Weather Service said the severe thunderstorm warning for Wyandotte County has expired.
The storm has weakened below severe limits, the weather service said, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
However, small hail, gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with the storm, the weather service said.
These other watches are in effect: severe thunderstorm watch until 10 p.m. Saturday; flash flood watch from 7 p.m. Saturday until 7 a.m. Sunday; heat advisory in effect until 9 p.m. Saturday; and orange ozone alert, in effect for Saturday.
