Western Wyandotte County is in the path of a severe thunderstorm, according to the National Weather Service.
It is under a severe thunderstorm warning until 10 p.m. The severe thunderstorm was in Bonner Springs about 9:45 p.m., moving east at 35 mph.
This storm includes hail the size of Ping-Pong balls and 60 mph wind gusts. Those in the path of the storm should move to an interior room on the lowest floor of the building, the weather service said.
The entire county is under a severe thunderstorm watch until 2 a.m.
