Several accidents have been reported on slick highways in Wyandotte County on Friday morning, according to KC Scout.
Accidents have been reported at southbound I-635 and Shawnee Drive; northbound I-635 near the K-5 north and 38th Street exit; eastbound I-70 near I-435; westbound I-70 at the ramp from 57th Street; southbound I-435 at K-32; and westbound I-70 to I-635 and Park Drive, as well as at other locations.
State highway officials advised drivers to stay home if at all possible, as conditions could be slick on snow-packed or icy areas of highways.
