ServSafe class to be offered Feb. 4

School or food service employees, certified dietary managers or individuals interested in food service employment may want to attend a ServSafe class from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 4 at the Wyandotte County K-State Research and Extension Office, 1216 N. 79th St.

The three-and-a-half hour course will cover topics including personal hygiene, food temperature management, preparing and serving safe food, and cleaning and sanitizing.

The course is taught by Lori Wuellner, Wyandotte County family and consumer science agent. She is a certified ServSafe instructor.
