Sentencing is set for April 6 for Enemencio C. Lansdown in the Casey Eaton case, according to the Wyandotte County District Attorney’s office.
Lansdown, 42, had originally been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Casey Eaton. He pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter and was found guilty earlier this week in Wyandotte County District Court.
Casey Eaton, 34, died after being shot on Wednesday, April 17, 2017, in the 900 block of Kansas Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas.
Casey Eaton was the sister of Pamela Butler, who was kidnapped and killed in the same area of Kansas City, Kansas, in 1999. Keith Nelson was convicted of the murder of Pamela Butler.
