Two persons were injured when a semi and a Honda car collided on an icy bridge on Wednesday at K-7 in Kansas City, Kan.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, the accident at 9:48 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, happened when a Honda car that was northbound on K-7 next to a semi tried to pass the semi and lost control on an icy bridge.
The Honda spun in front of the semi, and the semi struck the Honda in the driver’s side door, the report stated.
The driver of the Honda, a 64-year-old man from Overland Park, Kan., was injured and taken to a hospital, according to the report.
The driver of the semi, a 52-year-old man from Rossville, Tenn., was not injured, the report stated. A passenger in the semi, a 41-year-old man from Alvin, Tenn., also was not injured.
