An accident involving a semi at 10:30 p.m. Friday on westbound I-70 near the 57th Street exit resulted in a possible minor injury to the driver of a car.
A semi and a passenger car were westbound on I-70 when the semi went into the right lane and struck the passenger vehicle, the trooper’s report stated. The car then hit the barrier wall, according to the report.
The driver of the Saturn car, a 66-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man, had a possible minor injury and was taken to a hospital, according to the report.
The driver of the semi, a 51-year-old man from Blue Springs, Missouri, had no apparent injury, according to the trooper’s report.
