Schools in Wyandotte County have changed their schedules because of the potential of icy weather.
Today, the Kansas City, Kansas, Public Schools are on a two-hour delayed start, with no preschool classes and no morning Kidzone program. School buses are running two hours late. All of the Kansas City, Kansas, Public Library locations also are on a two-hour delayed start.
Turner Public School district is on a two-hour delay today.
The Bonner Springs-Edwardsville Public School district has a two-hour delayed start today, with no morning preschool and buses running two hours late.
The Piper Public School district has canceled classes today.
Wyandotte County is currently under a winter weather advisory until noon from the National Weather Service.
