Five extra days have been added to the end of the season at Schlitterbahn Waterpark in Kansas City, Kan., according to a recent announcement.
The park now will be open from noon to 6 p.m. on Aug. 20, 27 and 28, as well as Sept. 3 and 4, according to the announcement.
“Since the sun took a little longer to get up to speed in Kansas City, we wanted to give our fans a few more days to have some great summer fun,” said Matt Lawrence, general manager for Schlitterbahn Kansas City.
During those five “Blast and Save” days, many of the most popular attractions will be open at a deeply discounted price, according to park officials. The Verruckt, the world’s tallest waterslide, will be open along with 13 other rides and attractions.
