Living Water Church sponsors Easter event
Living Water United Methodist Church, 3001 N. 115th St., will hold its annual community Easter event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 4. Easter egg hunt planned Saturday at St. Paul’s
A Hallelujah Parade is planned Saturday, April 4, in the chapel at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1300 N. 18th St. The parish will join with the Historic Westheight Neighborhood Association to sponsor an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4, on the parish grounds.
Easter egg hunt planned at Stony Point
Stony Point Christian Church, 149 S. 78th St., will have an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4, in the church park. The event will be in the Cole Activity Center in case of inclement weather. Children who are participating are asked to bring their own baskets.
Archery class offered
An archery class will be held for tweens at 1 p.m. April 4 at the Schlagle Environmental Library at Wyandotte County Lake Park, 91st and Leavenworth Road. The basics of technique and safety will be taught, and there will be a competition at the end. Advance registration is required. The class is for ages 8 and up. Call 913-299-2384 to register.
Project Feederwatch continues
Project Feederwatch continues at the Schlagle Environmental Library at Wyandotte County Lake Park, 91st and Leavenworth Road. The bird count is planned each Saturday when people sign up in advance. For more information, call 913-299-2384.
Spanish singing offered
Participants will learn to sing Spanish songs from noon to 2 p.m. April 4 at the South Branch Library, Meeting Room B, 3104 Strong Ave., Kansas City, Kan. All ages may attend.
Advance voting continues Saturday, April 4
Advance voting continues from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at two locations: Election Office, 850 State Ave., Kansas City, Kan.; and at the Kansas Speedway office, 400 Speedway Blvd., near I-70 and I-435, Kansas City, Kan. Those who are voting should be registered voters who bring their photo identification, such as a driver’s license.
