The annual St. Patrick parish holiday craft fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at 94th and State Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas.
Turner Band plans holiday craft fair
The Turner Band plans a holiday craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, in the Turner High School Commons, 2211 S. 55th, Kansas City, Kansas. More than 50 vendors are scheduled. Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Turner band students will give live performances. Food trucks are planned.
Family story time planned
Family story time will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 23, in the craft room at the Main Kansas City, Kansas, Public Library, 625 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. Participants will read stories, dance and sing. This program is geared to children ages 2-6.
Spanish singing lessons planned
“Clases de Canto,” or Spanish singing lessons, are planned from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, in Conference Room B, South Branch Library, 3104 Strong Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. The Spanish language singing class is taught by Sandra Zamora. For other library programs, visit www.kckpl.org.
Strawberry Hill Museum tours planned
Olde World Christmas weekend tours are planned at noon Saturday, Nov. 23, and Sunday, Nov. 24, at the Strawberry Hill Museum, 720 N. 4th St., Kansas City, Kansas. Parish plans turkey bingo event
All Saints Catholic parish will hold turkey bingo at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at the parish hall at 809 Vermont Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. The event is sponsored by the Holy Rosary Sodality. The $10 donation will include a Polish sausage and kraut sandwich, drink and a bingo card.
Taco bingo fundraiser planned
The Christ the King 8th grade will hold a taco bingo fundraiser from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at 53rd and Leavenworth Road to help with graduation fees and field trip costs.
