Delaware tribal presentation planned
A representative of the Kansas Delaware Tribal Council will present a history of the tribe and its connections to the state of Kansas at a presentation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at the West Wyandotte Library auditorium, 1737 N. 82nd t., Kansas City, Kansas. There will be a demonstration of traditional tribal dance. The event is open to the public and is for all ages.

Family story time planned
Family story time will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 22, at the craft room, Main Kansas City, Kansas, Public Library, 625 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. This program is geared to ages 2 to 6. There will be a story, dancing and singing. For other library programs, visit www.kckpl.org.

Animal program to be Saturday
An animal program is planned for 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, in the craft room at the Main Kansas City, Kansas, Public Library, 625 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. Exotic animals will be the topic, with speakers from Exotics-R-Us. The program is for children and teens.

African-American book club to meet
The African-American book club, Infinite Shades of Brown, will discuss “The Gilded Years” by Karin Tanabe, a historical novel based on the life of the first black student to attend Vassar, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 22, in the first floor meeting room, Main Kansas City, Kansas, Public Library, 625 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. The program is geared to adults.

Armourdale Community Picnic planned
Cross-Lines Community Outreach is holding an Armourdale Community Picnic for Armourdale friends and neighbors from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at 736 Shawnee Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. The picnic will have food, music and games, at no charge.

T-Bones scheduled to play tonight
