Family story time to be Saturday
Family story time is planned from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, in the youth services craft room at the Main Kansas City, Kansas, Public Library, 625 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. Stories, dancing and singing are part of the story time, which is geared to children ages 2 to 6.
Fundraiser planned
Christ the King eighth-graders will hold the annual taco bingo fundraiser from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at 3024 N. 53rd St., Kansas City, Kansas. The dinner menu is two tacos, rice, beans, drink and dessert.
Turner plans ‘Miracle on 55th Street’
The Turner Recreation Commission is planning “Miracle on 55th Street” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at 831 S. 55th St., Kansas City, Kansas. There will be free pictures with Santa, cookies and cocoa, face painting and balloon art. Those attending may bring their own cameras for photos.
