Two polling places in Wyandotte County will be open for advance voting today.
They are the Election Office at 850 State Ave., and the Speedway satellite polling place near I-70 at 110th Street.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25. There also will be advance voting at these two sites on Saturday, Nov. 1.
The Speedway satellite polling place has touch-screen voting only.
Advance voting also is open on the weekdays before the Nov. 4 election.
The Election Office, 850 State Ave., will be open for advance voting:
8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, through Friday, Oct. 31;
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, and Nov. 1.
The satellite site at the Kansas Speedway, near I-70 and 110h Street, will be open for touchscreen voting only:
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, and Nov. 1;
10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, through Friday, Oct. 31.
Directions: Take State Avenue to Village West Parkway, turn south on Village West Parkway, continue to its end at the intersection of 110th Street and Speedway Boulevard, turn right to Speedway Boulevard, then shortly afterward, turn left into the driveway for the Speedway voting place.
Voting hours on Election Day, Nov. 4, are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the regular polling places throughout Wyandotte County.
Besides advance voting and Election Day voting, registered voters may request and receive an advance ballot by mail. Ballots must be returned to the Election Office before Election Day.
Voters must be previously registered to vote, and must bring their driver’s license or other valid photo identification with them to the polls.
