A rollover accident was reported at 10:05 p.m. Monday, July 5, on northbound I-635 south of Kansas Avenue, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s crash log.
A Chevrolet Equinox sport utility vehicle was northbound on I-635 when the driver lost control, the trooper’s report stated. The vehicle left the road to the left, struck a barrier wall and rolled, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Equinox, a 17-year-old female from Overland Park, Kansas, had a possible minor injury and was taken to a hospital, the report stated.
A passenger in the vehicle, a 19-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man, also had a possible minor injury and was taken to a hospital, according to the report.
