Reward fund increased in Jaquail Mansaw case

The reward fund has been increased to $5,000 to find the killer of 7-month-old Jaquail Mansaw.

According to Tamika Pledger, Jaquail is one of several children in Greater Kansas City in the past few months whose lives have been lost to violence. She said Jaquail’s mother is thanking the community for its support.

Jaquail was killed in a drive-by shooting while inside a Kansas City, Kan., home with his mother. A reward fund was established for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.

The funeral arrangements for Jaquail will include visitation from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at Forest Grove Baptist Church, and funeral service from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at Forest Grove Baptist Church, 1417 N. 9th St., Kansas City, Kan.
