A reception is planned today in Kansas City, Kan., for U.S. Senate candidate Chad Taylor.
The host of the reception is former U.S. Rep. Dennis Moore, a Democrat from the 3rd District.
The meet-and-greet event will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. June 26 at the law office of Bill Hutton, 509 Armstrong Ave. Light refreshments, beer and wine will be available.
