By Saturday the storms will be south of the area, with cooler temperatures prevailing through the weekend into early next week.
Saturday’s forecast is mostly cloudy, changing to sunny, with a high near 73. On Sunday, the forecast calls for sunny skies with a high near 76.
Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms can be expected by midweek next week, bringing a potential for several inches of rain. Severe weather is not anticipated.
