Rain and possibly a thunderstorm are in today’s forecast from the National Weather Service.
Showers and thunderstorm are possible in the morning and afternoon, but no severe weather is anticipated.
The weather service said there is a chance for a few funnels, but they should be harmless and will likely not result in a tornado.
Also, there’s a chance for some wintry precipitation later this week.
Timing, track, location and precipitation is still uncertain, but there is a chance for the large portion of the area to see some form of a wintry mix from Thursday through Saturday, the weather service said.
The temperature was 54 degrees at 8 a.m. Monday. Temperatures will fall to 42 by 5 p.m. Monday. High winds are possible today.
Tonight, there will be a slight chance of rain before 9 p.m., with a low of 28 overnight. Winds will be from 18 to 21 mph with gusts as high as 29 mph.
On Tuesday, expect a high of 36, a northwest wind of 7 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Tuesday night it will be partly cloudy, with a low around 22. The wind will be 3 to 6 mph.
Wednesday night and on Friday, there is a 30 percent chance of snow, according to the weather service.
