Storms are possible Thursday night into Friday morning, and Wyandotte County could get about a quarter of an inch of rain, according to the National Weather Service.
South of the Kansas City area, there is more of a chance of severe weather associated with the storms.
Friday night and Saturday will have another chance of rain.
Today, it will be mostly cloudy with a high near 66, the weather service said. An east northeast wind of 5 to 7 mph will become north northwest in the afternoon.
Tonight, there is a 60 percent chance of rain after 1 a.m., with a low around 51, according to the weather service. There will be an east wind of 5 to 10 mph. Between a tenth and quarter-inch of rain is possible.
Friday, there is a 30 percent chance of rain, with a high near 69, the weather service said, and an east northeast wind of 6 to 9 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is possible.
Friday night, there is a 70 percent chance of rain, with thunderstorms also possible after 10 p.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 57 with a light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 7 after midnight. Between a quarter and half-inch of rain is possible.
Saturday, there is a 40 percent chance of rain with a high near 67, the weather service said. A west southwest wind of 8 to 18 mph will gust as high as 37 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.
Saturday night, it will be partly cloudy, with a low of 44, according to the weather service.
Sunday, it will be sunny with a high near 64, the weather service said.
