A BNFS Railroad yard employee died this morning after falling into a rail car full of grain in Kansas City, Kan.
Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department rescue crews responded to the call about 9:30 a.m. Monday, July 14.
The employee fell into the rail car during the process of moving the grain from the car to a semi-trailer, according to the Fire Department spokesman.
Rail crews were in the process of trying to remove the grain from the railroad car when fire rescue crews arrived 4 minutes after the call.
Fire crews found the employee near the bottom of the car. The employee succumbed to his injuries.
